The Grand Rapids Fire Department has a partnership with the Junior Reserved Officer Training Corps (JROTC) through the Grand Rapids Public Schools.  Our fire department works with the JROTC programs wherein firefighters have regular sessions presenting firefighting activities.  This exposes the students to the life and duties of firefighters and opens the door for the students to consider a career in the fire service.
